Message to Pastor

Welcome Pastor Mary Beth:  On Sunday, August 10th we will honor Pastor Don and Jeanine with a reception following the church service in Weiblen Hall.  On Saturday, August 16th, and Sunday, August 17th Pastor Mary Beth will begin her ministry with us at Trinity.  On Sunday, August 31st, we will host Bishop Lohrmann for Pastor Mary Beth's installation. Following the service, we will enjoy a time of food and fellowship with a cook-out/passing dish meal.  Please bring a passing dish to share with others.

Choir Season Starts Soon:  The Senior choir starts Aug. 27th with rehearsals on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:40 pm.  The Junior choir starts Sep. 3rd with rehearsals on  Wednesdays from 6:45 to 7:20 pm. Call or email Judy Lewis with questions.

Men to Sing for the Lord:  One rehearsal on Wed. Aug. 20th at 7:00 pm.  Rehearse again on Sun. Aug. 24th at 9:45 am and sing during the 10:30 worship service that morning.  No previous experience required. Questions - call or email Judy Lewis.

Catechism Meeting:  The parents of Catechism students (grades 7 & 8) and all of the candidates for our confirmation program are asked to meet for an informational meeting on Wed. Aug 20th at 7:00 pm.  We will discuss plans for the coming year. It is requested that all parents and students be present.

Mid-week Manna: The membership committee is starting a Wed. evening food & fellowship beginning Sep. 3rd.  If you're here for one of the many activities, or just want to join us for dinner, please come.  A free will offering basket will be available to cover expenses.  Contact Cort Goshia or Mary Ann Taylor for information or ideas.

Parish Education Award:  This award will be presented on Sunday, Sep. 7th at our worship service.  Deadline for nominations is noon on Aug. 17th.  Nomination forms are on the table in the narthex.  Please submit nominations to the church office, or a Parish Education committee member.

New Custodian:  Trinity is searching for a new custodian to provide building/grounds maintenance and housekeeping services.  This position takes 25-35 hours per week.  A job description is posted on the bulletin board.  Please send your letter of interest or resume to the church at 509 Center St., Bryan, Oh - Attention Property Commitee.

Flowers & Radio Broadcasts:  Both sign up sheets for 2008 are now posted on the wall in the narthex near the Weiblen Hall entrance.

New Teachers Needed:  The Parish Education Committee is looking for new teachers for the pre-school and adult education classes.  Please contact a member of the Parish Education Committee if you are interested.

Nursery School:  Parents can have their nursery-school age kids attend at 9:15 or during the regular church service.  Rhonda Fackler leads the 9:15 am class and Barb Velleman leads at 10:30 am.  This is a great option for busy parents.

Servicemen & College Students:  The Membership Committee would like to keep in touch but can only do so if we have addresses for them.  Please send or call addresses in.

Church Parking:  Parking to the south of our building (other than spots directly behind the church) is the property of St. Patrick's Church.  Please leave those spaces for their use on Sunday morning.

Hospital Visitation Note:  A federal law greatly restricts the disclosure of patient information by hospitals.  As a result, the pastor and church office may not know that a member of the church has been admitted to the hospital.  If you are hospitalized and would like to notify the pastor, it is important that you or a family member inform the church office.  Call the church office at 419-636-3387.
