TRINITY TRIPSTERS was organized in 1999 for the senior members of Trinity Lutheran Church.  The membership began with retired members of Trinity Lutheran.  Many people from other churches, or friends of our members, now join us on these events.

Trinity Tripsters is non-profit and is supported by the church.  Each attending person pays their own way for the day's event.

There is one outing per month - just a day trip, no overnight stays.  During January, February, and March we stay at the church for the event.  We have a catered luncheon, preceded or followed by a program.  We attempt to educate and entertain with these events.  It may be talent from our church or from other sources.

We send out monthly flyers announcing our plans for the day.  The flyer includes all the information (place, date & time, cost, and time of return to the church).  Most programs are planned for daytime, as Seniors usually choose to not do much driving at night.  Occasionally we do an evening outing, as it may be the only time that program is offered.

We travel by car and have volunteers who drive their cars.  Each month we figure the mileage to the event and there is a minimal amount charged to ride.  The driver is then reimbursed for driving their vehicle.

At times, the price of the meal is determined and we place an order and everyone eats a similar meal.  As often as we can we let you select and pay for your own lunch.
